Universal, waterproof bike panniers
From 2009 the panniers are offered with improved shape and new design
which resembles that of the Ultimate 5 barbag and Bike-Packer rear
panniers. Base feet protect the panniers bottom and keep it clean.
The ORTLIEB Sport-Packer Classic is a waterproof bike pannier suitable
for lowrider front or rear rack. With its classical lid closure the waterproof Sport-Packer pannier allows fast access to the bag’s interior and can be loaded higher than the Front-Roller. The Sport-Packer is perfect as a “small” rear pannier or pannier for children’s or youths' bikes. A fixed inner pocket with main compartment and zippered mesh pocket helps organising items inside the bag. Bike-Packer fans will be delighted about this bag as ideal supplement to their rear panniers especially for longer bike tours. The patented ORTLIEB QL1 system allows fast and easy single-handed mounting and removal of the panniers and is suitable for racks with a tube diameters up to 16 mm (hook inserts for diameters of 8 and 11 mm are included). Once the panniers are hooked onto the rack the mounting components close automatically. For taking off the rack you simply lift the handle. It’s as easy as that! The elliptical hook rail on the lower rear side of the pannier serves as an additional fixing point and prevents the bag from moving around. Thanks to the rotating QL2 hook the mounting system is compatible with
almost any bike rack. Two large highly reflective 3M Scotchlite reflectors ensure safety in the dark.

Stay on the right track! An optional £14 mapcase or GPS cover can be fixed onto the lid of the Ultimate 5 Plus and Classic bar bags. Both products are part of the Ultimate handlebar accessory range. The barbags have stiffeners to keep them standing and feature a rigid lid. They are available in sizes M and L. The integrated valuables pocket helps organize small items. Both models feature a 3M Scotchlite reflector for safety in the dark. Maximum allowable weight is 3kg/105oz. Designed for a handle bar diameter of max. 31,8mm/1.25 in.
